Although she is still pretty young, Audrey already has a few favorite things...
She loves nothing more than to make a poopie in a freshly changed diaper within 15-30 seconds of being all dressed back up. She loves to spit up on dad's chest. She loves to pee during her diaper changes. She especially loves to keep awake whoever is on the first overnight baby shift(usually Jessica).
It may not seem like alot of favorites, but cut her some slack, she's just a baby.
Her number one dislike is being naked.

Baby Delay
Due to overcrowding and personal doctor issues we were bumped back a day for having the baby. At least that's one more day to get the house clean.

So this is my first ever blog. I figured it won't be as cool as Tara's(Tara you'll have to give me some pointers) but now that I'm going to have a kid I need a way to share with family and friends all the fun baby poop stories and such.
So about five months ago Jessica and I were standing in the hallway of our house staring dumbfoundedly into the bathroom totally speachless... This is the day we found out we were having a baby. I knew I should be excited about it but it was all a bit of a shock. The doctors told us that we had about a ten percent chance of getting pregnant I think. Apparently Ten percent is much larger than I would have thought.
Tonight we will be going into the hospital to have Jessica induced and bring Audrey Emily Burgi into the world. Those of you with keen math skills will notice that we didn't find out Jessica was pregnant until she was already Four months along. This is due to medical issues and such, not because Jessica just wasn't paying attention.
Jessica may not agree but from what I hear from other fathers she has had a great pregnancy. She was never moody, never made me get her watermelon and peanut butter in the middle of the night. Wan't sick all the time (she might argue this one). The only hard part that she did great with I think is that she had to keep a really close eye on her sugar levels through the whole thing because of her type 1 diabetes.
